they will probably change the paint color, which is classic and fine as it is. doubtless will scrape off the window lettering and throw away the banner, as well! all very sad to me; pleasant the way they are. good examples of letterpress-period printing... harder and harder to find--though maybe not such a rarity in new york. i wonder if this is the sort of place where there are apartments upstairs that are internally connected to the "shop" level? always thought it would be cool to live right above one's place of business, tumble out of bed and down the stairs to work --now that's a good morning commute!
