'Wait For Me' album listening in the UK with The Times
"Moby is here to talk about his new album, Wait for Me, a melancholy, touching collection of songs made, in very lo-fi surroundings, with a mixture of electronic and acoustic instruments. In the past he has worked with Britney, fallen out with Eminem and won the Guinness World Record for the song with the most beats per minute (Thousand), but this album involves no famous friends, and no fuss. He says the songs won’t be going on adverts because he has learnt his lesson. Of course, he has already made his money. But he’s refreshingly free from bitterness about the slagging he got in the past."

I still don’t understand why people thing it is bad that your music was on advertisements and what is wrong with commercialism? In life we all have to advertise in many ways or we cannot expand and move further. Working in small business I wish I could do the big time advertising that would market my businesses in the way that would help them to be more widely known and a success and I know that I recognize some songs, because some commercials are so well done and memorable, that the song sticks in my head and I can listen to it and afterwards the song will play over and over again many times. Is that wrong or bad that your music was on commercials? No, I think that is silly to think so and I don’t feel anybody had the right to diss you for such. Furthermore, I wanted to say that one of my most favorite jobs that I have ever had was when I worked at Praco Public Relations and Advertising in Colorado Springs, Colorado. There is nothing wrong with commercialism, but people bash it and that is quite a waste of energy I feel. That is my personal feeling on the matter anyhow.
Oh and also I love how your songs have been in movies and I hope your new songs on Wait for Me will be background on movies and tv shows also. They are beautiful. It would be nice to feel the magic of hearing them on films I watch. Muaz xxxx

Wow, having all those celebrities in the charming little Teany Café’. So cozy it is. I was surprised at how small it was when I visited there. The ambience of it though was absolutely lovely. I loved all of the tea light candles. I’m glad that Kelly is having it rebuilt after the fire that took it down. Tis sad that happened.
I too would feel sorry for the rodents. I think that rats are adorable and in fact my son and I contemplated getting a pet rat a few times my love, so I totally understand where *you* are coming from and Teany Café’ is Vegetarian & Vegan so I know she would appreciate carrots, smiles and blinks.
