just got back from l.a where, ironically, it was cold and grey. i still love l.a, but it's odd and disconcerting that it's warmer in l.a in january than it is in july.

oh, i think there are still about 2 tickets left for the vatican commandos show at mercury lounge on july 17th, so hopefully see you there. have a nice weekend, and here's the l.a diamondsnake picture. i'm the guy on the right who looks sort of like gollum.

Yup! I'm the person that came up to you before the show and introduced myself and asked about the facebook comments. You said you didn't read them. Sorry I bothered you; Didn't mean too. You just ended up staring at me. And I didn't know what to say. I'm sorry for freaking you out. It was a very awkward moment and wish I could erase it from happening...... Just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the show.
I thought about leaving but I'm glad I stayed to see the show.
I almost got a ticket driving home. I forgot to turn my lights on. I was pulled over. Luckly I didn't drink and that's what she was looking for DYI. So in all a fun night. Thanks. And Hope we can meet on better terms someday ; )
Yes the weather here in LA has been overcast; some sun here and there... I think it's better then the heat wave back East.

Another odd experience
As it happened, my night out ended with a visit to a gay club - my first visit ever. It was great fun and I havnt danced like that for decades.
However, I eventually needed to go to the loo, which turned out to be a unisexual one. My English friend warned me of going there as the toilets were really narrow-spaced as I´m a huge woman these days. But if you have to go, you have to go.
When I eventually got out of the squeeze-in toilet, I loudly said, as I was thinking of way too small toilets for fat people:
"I´m feeling discriminated!".
And guess what? All the boys and girls in the restroom looked at me, nodded and silently agreed.
But on something else than narrowed-spaced toilets.
That was an odd experience.
