Indeed it´s nice to be in one place and get fat!
I´m snowed in today. Should have visited my parents, but as the roads aren´t driveable, I had to stay indoors. The weather´s actually so bad I can´t even have a fag on the balcony as the livingroom is covered in snow when I open the balcony door.
So I´ve finally put away the last of my Christmas stuff in the cupboards and been ironing the clothes that´s been piled up in my bedroom since summertime. Yes, I´m a lazy bastard at home, but quite efficient at work. I guess that´s where I put all my energy.
While I´ve been ironing, I´ve been listening to Moby. I started with Ambient, continued with Baby Monkey, Hotel (both cds) and now Animal Right is playing in the background.
As it comes to getting fat, I think I´ve lost a pound or two today as I went to a re-opened veggie restaurant with my workmates yesterday where they served a lot of beans...
Sometimes it´s a blessing to live on your own.
And probably hell to be a vegan.

i'd like to talk about french experience on this subject.
in 1990 's, the mad cow disease appeared in north europe.
french people were shocked. the beef we eat (and worst, the beef we ate) could contaminate us. the meat consomption declined significantly. the consumers wanted to know where the meat came from : which country, which sort of stockbreeding. so, appeared, identification tag on meat informed about the meat origins. the meat consomption changed in quantity and quality. now french meat consumers buy meat from small french stockbreedings... for our health and also to support the traditional small stockbreedings. these stockbreedings are more respectful of animals and consumers. we also want to support a social and united economy. so french people avoid to buy meat from industrial stockbreedings because it objective is to make money even if meat is bad and animals suffer. so, the question of meat quality is larger than a question of food and health : it's also (and maybe, first) an economic question. which society do we want : based on productivity and greed to the detriment of health and respect ?
in france, today, we try to change the animal production by our meat consomption. (we are not sure to win but we try).

I have felt so sad for *you* that *you* stopped doing it as often, because so many of your songs I hear and I feel and sense immediately that they would make the most beautiful background songs for a film or so and also I was saddened by the fact that *you* allowed anyone to make *you* feel like *you* had to restrict yourself from working on music that would become endorsements for films and/or advertisements, because in essence, your music is immaculate and thus it is only natural that it should spreads it wings beyond simply being a beautiful song on a beautiful album of yours. Wow, that book ‘Gristle’ looks so wonderful my precious Angel!! Do *you* know what, I’m not kidding with *you*, honestly I saw that book on Amazon.com the other day when doing a search on Moby books. They only had one copy and ever since I saw it on there I indeed was planning on buying that sometime in the near future. I didn’t realize it was that new or the one *you* were writing about in this journal until I just now followed the link to News Press and saw it. As before, I still plan on purchasing it for sure my precious love & fellow vegan angel.
