i'm just getting ready to head to dumbo for the st. anne's pbs show
i'm just getting ready to head to dumbo for the st. anne's pbs show. i'm very curious to see who'll be there, as they didn't actually sell any tickets. or, rather, tickets weren't available for sale. it would be sad if tickets had been available and they hadn't sold any. sad and/or tragic. but i think the tickets were all given away to high-rollin' pbs donors. my grandmother was a big pbs donor. will i be playing to a room full of my grandmother's friends?
an aside: i was having dinner last night and i saw that some proto-surrealist had put graffiti on the urinal in the bathroom. i don't often send through pictures of urinals, but i thought this one would make sense to any other marchel duchamp fans. if you're going to graffiti a urinal, then 'r. mutt 1917' is about the best you' could do, i'm thinking. 'r. rose selavy' would work, too, i guess.

ok, soundcheck time.

St. Anne's in Brklyn
The concert on Friday was a ton of fun! Inyang was amazing and the set was great. Such a wide variety of music and really enjoyed the covers. If you ever play a show at a dive bar of your 5 second covers would love to come. Looking forward to seeing the show on PBS & Hulu I was told... Thanks for the good times.

bye moe,
It's all I can think about ...again. You're just too beautiful inside and out, too funny, too charming, even your flaws are attractive. I look at him and I feel like an emotional cheater. I'm glad I went to the show though; it proved to me i'm right about you: YOU ARE UTTERLY AND UNEQUIVOCALLY FANTASTIC, A PHENOMENON, A MASTER MUSICIAN! And you made me laugh to boot! But I got to get out of here, i'm sure you understand. Damned magic taxi cab. All the best, Moe, I'll love u forever.
I had a GREAT time at the St.
I had a GREAT time at the St. Ann's show. (I was the old guy with the gray beard in the middle of the fourth row.) Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Intergalactic peace for us crazy aliens.
I thought my time was up!
It's all too much....
Too much information can keep ya up all night. Oh, i can handle seeing a cloud-covered saucer with lightning swirls and a thunder machine that plays for bowie on cue, but last night, last night, don't ask me to explain....
but i will say this: a beautiful larger-than-life vessel hovered around me yesterday, and after filling me with amazement, wonder, awe, and admiration, the vessel flew off, leaving me in a turbulent wake of mystery, doubt, confusion, and longing. So what do I do? Stop looking at the stars?
ok so u have enough crazies on hand....
at least i know the aliens are real, and they're huge fans, who knew? Moby promotes intergalactic peace. ;)
Don't deny it Moby. Area 2. yep. i remember.
I hope your PBS Show was fabulous my love.....

I have never donated to PBS, but I remember my Grandma Hamblin doing so and I enjoy the Public Broadcasting System. They have some great tv shows for all age groups and I remember watching PBS when I was a little girl. The Electric Company was one of my favorite shows back then. Smiles. I also so enjoy the concerts they do to raise money to keep their television station open. Such as the Yanni concert's where they ask for donations and then play his entire concert at like the Acropolyse and people get free Yanni music cd's and other incentives for donating. I have noticed PBS has had many absolutely thrilling concerts on their channel. Simon & Garfunkel too. Love it!!! So I'm so happy to know *You* were on PBS darling. That's so awesome!!!!!!
*You* are so absolutely fascinating and unusual taking that photo of the urninal. Giggles. And Honey Bunny, what I think is soooooo ironic is the fact that our water wasn't running when Lil Brayden & I arrived home from Naples tonight. The construction going on here for the remodeling seems to continually cause problems with things, by accident, but still....these things shouldn't happen. I think the construction crew need to be more careful, but anyway.....I think it is so funny how *you* posted that photo, since obviously, if our water hadn't been turned on/fixed, we wouldn't have been able to use our toilet....Giggles...I know, it's a weird thought, but Oh my, it is so true. When I first realized something was wrong with the water I was feeling so frustrated thinking of how long it could take for the emergency maintenance to fix the problem. I was imagining if it took a long time for the water to be fixed, that my son could have been unable to use the toilets, to bathe, etc. And simple things like filling water bottles for my pets. So long story short my luv, I see this photo as a strong connection that we have to one another.
Have a beautiful evening my love!!!

*You*
Wtf is up with you and all your *you* stuff. Not only is it weird, but I would be creeped out if I was Moby.
Are you a friend (as in hang out, talk to each other directly, etc) or family member? If so then it is still weird but I'll forgive the "Eternal Love" part...
i
love st. anne's warehouse. hope it was fun and filled with mature ladies with free pbs totebags. that's pretty funny that someone graffitied (is that correct verbage? (aka verb-usage)) r.mutt 1917, but done in gold metallic marker a la 21st century. (i don't think ms. selavy would have used a urinal, and i don't think she was around in 1917). this is so random but i was listening to the radio the other day and heard interpol's nyc and thought you would sound great singing that acoustically. i wouldn't be surprised if you have at your concerts. shmoo

Death to all urinals
I used to clean urinals when I was 18 and worked at an hotel during the summertime. I recall how I just loathed to get into the men´s restroom and feel that awful stench from the urinals in my nostrils.
Why can´t men be civilized and use a toilet in a proper way, i.e., to sit down on the toilet seat and do whatever they should do and then flush the awful thing/things away without leaving any marks?
So, just pull the damn thing away, clean it up and let it rest in a museum as a reminder of how males used to get rid of their body fluids in ancient days!
norman urinal
maybe, it's the original "fountain" (but it's not upside down).
i'm not really a marcel duchamp's fan. i've been interesting in this artist only because he was born and died in normandy (i'm a norman-french chauvinist, but i try to cure me by reading american journal).
anyway, have a good work(evening)day in the st anne's pbs show ! i'd like to be here but as i said, previously, i live in normandy.

St. Anne's PBS show
I'm not a big PBS donor. (I'm a donor, but not a big one.) I got a ticket 'cause I found out they were giving them away by reading your Twitter.
