you might know that he's threatening to filibuster health care legislation. using a filibuster means that he can stop the senate from voting, even though the legislation would most likely pass with the democratic majority if it weren't filibustered. one senator, in this case joe lieberman, can shut down the legislative process. is joe lieberman contradicting himself? you decide, as these are some quotes from joe lieberman about the filibuster:

I hope and pray that his threats don't become a reality. It makes me disgusted to know there are people like him in the government. People that can destroy our hope for prosperity and better health care programs.
