you are right, in pursuit of fame, you can do reprehensible things : like confinement of npr head office during 48 hours in order to be nominated as the author of the best album of the year. You know what ? it's pitiful..
You did'nt force yourself to do that.. because if you are not famous, it's not a problem : you stop on the roadside.. and David Lynch makes a film of you .. so simple..

I came to your website via an indirect path/indirect interest.

I've recently made the decision to change my diet from mostly vegetarian (lacto-ovo) to vegan. I have had success in finding many websites dedicated to vegan recipes, but I have been searching for something else as inspiration, maybe another human experience of veganism that I can follow and relate to as a guide, or to compare to my own.

In any case, I plugged "vegan" into youtube and your name came up, including your recipe for vegan berry pancakes. This eventually led me to your blog.

You seem to be a very down-to-earth, thoughtful and artistic person, and it's refreshing for me to know that there are vegans out there with whom I can relate on some level.

In response to your previous blog on the pursuit of fame, maybe we seek fame because we have an inherent desire to immortalize ourselves via some sort of production/reproduction of ourselves... Maybe the pusuit of fame is really the pursuit of immortility of some sort.
