1-last night in san diego was hot and sweaty and fun. i also love how good the radio is in san diego. now i'm in l.a, where they also have good radio (kcrw).
2-just out of curiousity i went to the new republican website, gop.com. they just launched it. um, well, to re-phrase: i tried to go. twice. it wouldn't open. i guess the republicans are not exactly the most high-tech bunch... it seems like if you launch a web-site you might want to make sure it actually opens for the people who visit. to quote homer simpson, 'i hear they have the internet on computers now'.
3-on november 15th i'm doing my first ever unplugged (aka-acoustic) show at the palace theater in london. i will send address and ticket information through soon. it's a small and beautiful theater, it should be a nice night. with different singers and a full string section.

Dearest Moby,
I was ecstatic to see your show in San Diego on Monday night. I've loved your music from early on and I have to say that your performance at the "Playskool"event at the Sports Arena in 1992 was life-changing for me! I remember you had a huge water gun that you were spraying at the audience and you nearly destroyed your keyboard/sampler. That show and your performance made such an impression on me that I did go on to explore the wonderful and freeing "rave" scene in San Diego. I have since grown up, have two kids and a wonderful husband, have a journalism degree and work in the music products industry, but will always have a special place in my heart for your music and the influence you've had on my musical journey! Love the causes you stand for too!

Thanks for a great HOB SD show. As a fan since my first hearing of “Play” in ‘99, it was a dream fulfilled to see and hear you in the flesh; stubble, sweat and all. Was especially happy to see that your re-acquaintance with that old Cry Baby wah-wah is going well for you. Perhaps someday you’ll be inspired to create a definitive disco retrospective… given its so obvious lack of commercial appeal it would probably be a huge hit for you personally and for this much maligned musical genre :-)

We have some great radio stations here in Florida too. They love new wave here so that is what I noticed most when I first visited Florida was the lovely New Wave varieties. Smiles and blinks.

Acoustic Concert
I agree with jb, I think it would either be awesome for those songs to be released as an mp3 or have your concert put on stream, but I'm not sure what all goes into being able to do that, but I'm hoping for something along those lines even if that is impossible.

for most of us, it's impossible to come and see you for your unplugged show. did you plan to make an album with this show? or is it possible to distribute it for free via mp3 or streaming? in any case, i'd love to heard your unplugged performance, hope that we can heard that one day!! :))
