By the way, on your recent twitter message you mention Obama- I find that his stance on things and his opinions are giving Republicans a lot to say lately, but this isn't new between Gop and Dems. The issue is they asked kids to write letters to themselves telling the president how they can help him. While I don't agree with the idea, I think that saying it is fascist is a little radical. I think that the context of it has more to do with motivating kids. Maybe if they would have refrased it a little it wouldn't have aroused so many questions, still I think that the issue raised by them has to do more with political bickering.. But maybe kids writing a letter to congress instead would sound better? I also think that this presidency is difficult to handle because we were used to bashing presidents and getting away with it and not really thinking about it when we did, and with Obama we probably like to be a little more careful. However the issue is also that we are still potesting the method in which the government runs things. I think that Obama is simply caught up in the middle of the caustic. WEll, atleast that's the way I see it.

The thing that is new - a lot
The thing that is new - a lot of people who heard this idea about the kids and the school address [some are refusing to show it to their kids inciting it has "nothing to do" with lesson plans]... is the level of reaction. Some are comparing him to Hitler [starting with ~the children~ as I've heard some extreme Conservatives say] first.. so yes, the reaction to Obama IS different. It is extreme and dangerous so yeah, it is new. It isn't just bashing him. These things are dangerous, in my opinion. I mean, during the election Conservatives had no qualms with basically comparing him to terrorists, claiming he was a Muslim when he clearly wasn't and people are STILL trying to say he isn't eligible for President because he hasn't produced a birth certificate when he actually HAS. This isn't just bashing. This is extremity. And a hell of a lot of racism mixed in, in my personal opinion.
If George Bush had wanted to talk to kids would people be calling him Hitler? I seriously, seriously doubt it.
Splendid little things
I enjoy taking pictures of the splendid little things life has to offer. Although my last picture phone was stolen, as long as I never loose the memories of the pictures I took, I suppose that I can regain the beauty that was once lost.
