I dont know where to post this, so I guess this is as good a place as anywhere else...
I recently watched an interview with you that the swedish newspaper GP made. It is concerning the Global warming concert you had in sweden the 20th of august if Im not mistaken. I felt so sad when you said that "its a strange feeling to love a country, and not really have it love you back". Im writing in hope of restoring some of your faith in us swedes, curing some of that depression we've accidentally created in you and just to let you know - that we do love your music, your message to the world and the person you are.
For being someone who never really thought you would have any success with your music, I'd say you are extremely successful - reaching out to people, encouraging responsibility and good behaviour (global warming ect.), making the world a better place through music and the use of your fame. Way to go! high five! :]

do you use your a/c? why do i feel guilty turning the a/c on just for an hour to cool off? sometimes being principled is not a fun way to live. i think too much about little things that people don't give a shit about-- casein, printing on both sides of the paper, sable brushes, plastic containers... am i helping the world or just making myself feel less guilty? where can i go to unlearn all this nonsense?

Well, I don't know if I can be the enlightened schizophrenic- I know too much on the word. I went maybe you know to Omega and saw Alex Grey and Deborah Koff- these acclaimed artists. Silly me loving their work I clicked on friend requested. They accepted me along with others and yes Richard Allen James too, yet I don't know what to say to them. I've been girl interrupted for about two years now and as much as I want to head to New York I must keep in mind that I have a mental Illness now. I could Update my page by adding pictures in time but for all these beautiful people that I want to call friend what do I say? Wait for me? I doubt my beauty my offerings and that test I'm learning to pass about survival. I'm writing to you to express this and to tell the people that I love that yes- wait for me. I went to Santa Cruz and felt so liberated when I met a traveling man who reminded me of desire and accomplishment. Mother Nature i s so pleasing to be around. i ever send you a message when teany has burned, to send you some pics, because it was the only way for me to contact you, and you asked some pics from your journal few days ago. but, for the resons you said, i don't add you as a friend, and note that it's ridiculous to add "friends" who don't are.
of course, as every fans, i would have loved to had an answer, but i know that you don't have only that to do and understand it. it's perhaps even better if it stay a dream :)

when i was in new york, 1 month ago, i was wondering what does it feel when you are a friend of moby, and you see all these "wait for me" posters in the street, it may be fun to say "hey, i know this guy!" :)

whatever you do Moby don't feel guilty for enjoying your own personal space and privacy, it is so important to have your own little bit without being invaded by hangers on/fans/stalkers/whoever irritates you etc etc so you can have some form of a normal life (is there such a thing as normal I don't think so!) given the kind of enormous work you do. Indulge in your pleasures and don't feel guilty about it one little bit - true friendships and the mundane things in life (dogwalking, drinking coffee etc)is far more important than trying to justify yourself to everyone who you think may disapprove of your actions...

I doubt anyone is going to be offended that you have a private facebook page as you, very nicely, keep a fairly regular journal and myspace so it is quite easy to keep up with you in other places on the internet. I doubt your friends would enjoy having to sift through tons of fan messages of "COME TO BOSTON SOMETIME MOBY!!111" on your facebook wall. They need to hear about how good your morning orange juice was.

I had a facebook for a while, but then I realized I didn't much like the people I went to high school with when I was IN high school so I doubt I'd really like them now [I'm a very nice person, really].. And my entire family is on there including my mother. Which is just weird. And I only use myspace to comment on random blogs and twitter to listen to random celebrities ramble about their lives. I am an anti-social social networker.
