The thing that amazes me is that these galaxies are billions of light years away. They're so far away that the curvature of spacetime is distorting their image. And yet we can see them because NOTHING is blocking the pathway of light between the galaxies and the telescope.

The light starts at the galaxy on the other side of the universe, and it travels directly to you. (Okay, to the telescope.) It's almost like a string of light connecting you with that thing so far away.

I always think about that when I look at the stars. It boggles the mind.

It resembles as to what it looks like, like the sun has exploded in my ear, neck and face! The slide depicting bacteria in Moby's post looks actually quite pretty.

This past May my brother was killed from injuries sustained in a head on collision. He was my older brother and he introduced me to your music with your CD Play. i don't think anyone cleared up the bacteria/bacterium dilemma, but here it is just in case:

bacterium is singular and bacteria is plural. from what i remember in my high school latin classes, -um is 3rd declension neuter nominative/accusative singular and -a is the plural.

firstly, 'wait for me' is an album to be well proud of. thank you for sharing it with us. i love it already! albums made in personal locations rather than sterile studios almost always sound better for the experience.

as for the baby bacteria, it does indeed look reminiscent of galaxies... makes me wonder whether there are minute planets and other forms of life inside, and how far the chain goes in either and all directions... ok, 3 A.M., time for sleep.
