Last week I was on wnyc (hooray public radio) and kelli and I recorded a couple of acoustic songs.

Here's the acoustic version of 'mistake', one of the songs from 'wait for me'.

I agree that regular exercise

I agree that regular exercise is very useful for the proper health and growth of the human body. Moreover, some health habits such as sleeping straight on a
Memory Foam Mattress always helps.

Regular exercise, aside from

Regular exercise, aside from many other wonderful health benefits, usually makes it easier to fall asleep and sleep better. You don’t have to be a star athlete to reap the benefits-- as little as twenty to thirty minutes of activity helps. And you don’t need to do all 30 minutes in one session: break it up into five minutes here, ten minutes there. A brisk walk, a bicycle ride or a run is time well spent. However, be sure to schedule your exercise in the morning or early afternoon. Exercising too late in the day actually stimulates the body, raising its temperature. That’s the opposite of what you want near bedtime, because a cooler body temperature is associated with sleep. Don’t feel glued to the couch in the evening, though. Exercise such as relaxation yoga or simple stretching shouldn’t hurt.

Thanks

thanks j-mo, for sharing that rendition of your song mistake with us. i like that it is performed bare bones like that... as it fits the song and the lyrics.

Surrender to the breakdown

You had me cry about the third time. As I plea this course of insanity. There's proof of mistakes embedded in a song. I wanted to burst out please ignore my previous thoughts but this one really counts! Not only the lyrics but the person behind it. Who is telling the story. Who is having a breakdown. Who creates this piece of evidence that yes I existed and yes I have sent that tingle down your spine so many times. I encourage more. People get sick and misunderstood. We even burn bridges and lose great friends. Again.

congrats for the new album

Lovely Moby that keeps on making us dreaming and dreaming...
The pills of insomnia. I don't want to sleep anymore when i listen to his music,
or maybe to sleep with open eyes ...

Thank you!

all the way through

Just listened to the interview and I am loving the songs I am hearing so far, and yes you don't have to worry but I am one person from many of your fans who will be listening to your album at least once all the way through!
I love the minor chords you are using (A Minor, E Minor I do believe) but am very drawn to sad minor chords and songs as they come across as very emotional which you are conveying very well indeed, more so than Hotel at the moment if I do say so.
Looking forward to release date, impressed with it all so far well done so hope this fills you with more confidence.

jealous guy

Just been listening to the Janice Long show. Just happened to be watching the video that David Lynch did for you (with the volume down) while listening to "Jealous Guy" by Roxy Music on the show. It actually works quite well! Give it a go.

cheers,

Fan-contributed input?

Hi Moby,

I've listened to the new songs that you published on the site - and I like them very much, I am looking forward to the new album.

I wish to tell you that your music is great, I became a fan when I was exposed to "Natural blues" - the first song I heard.

I enjoyed the interview as well, I agree with your attitude towards mistakes, I support your "DIY approach" and certainly music should be made for people to listen (rather than for purely money-oriented objectives).

Your music helped me throughout the difficult parts of my life (the happy ones too), thank you for being so supportive. Would it be possible to do something for you in return, and offer to write the lyrics for a song?

I believe that my poems are in tune with your music and the ideas you mention in the interview.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Yours truly,
Alex

Woo, Hello

Hello ralienp or Alex which ever you would prefer I was just wondering being a poet and a fan of Moby’s myself I was wondering could I possibly take a look at some of the poetry you have written. I am also a poet and would be happy to share some of my work with you in exchange for some of your musings. I could send some by email if you would like? I would be ever grateful yours truly Denis.

Thank you.

Sorry, some bad news.

Hi Moby, you're my favorite musician!
It's not very good to say it to you, but i think it'll be better to you to know it.
Your new albom in the Web now. If i only know who made it, i'll beat him, right here, right now.
But we are your true admirers and we will buy your albom for sure!
Sorry for my bad english. Hope you read this.
Victor from St.-Petersburg.

Nice interview,thanks

Dear Moby

Really good interview, thanks for your words about mistakes in art.
Nobody is perfect and specially an art shouldn't be perfect.
And Im glad that so good artist like you is able to afford to make so nice mistakes :)
This is really necessary in this all crazy commercial world!

And that song... that makes me cry on my loneliness in this gray rainy day
But I love this kind of the sad melancholic songs... even if that makes me more sad..:)
Thanks Mo that you are,
you're a very special person and lucky one :)

big hug
yours s.

Mistake-Scream Pilots

I think this song is a quite sad, it is a real sad melody. The guitar in the song is fantastic. I like this song. And what about Scream Pilots? Did anybody see the new blip?

I just realized I missed an interview

I will listen to that next my love. I simply watched this moving music video and it brought me to tears and I didn't realize the interview was available until I went to get the coding for the song to post it in a journal on myspace. Kisses.

Tears falling before bedtime again

This song is ever so beautiful my love. I have listened to it three times now. Watching and listening to *you* singing this, sighs....I wish I could hold *you* forever and protect *you*. I feel *you* so much with this song my love!!!!! I can relate to it so much!!!!! We are so much the same Moby Richard Melville Hall!!!!

The third time I played this it for some reason opened up the video in three seperate windows and so this song was playing in triplet and it sounded so amazing. I had to turn down the volume, because it is almost 2 a.m. and my neighbors are probably sleeping.

*You* touch me so deeply and tug at my heart strings Mo. Sighs....

I Will Always Love *You* My Dream Come True Boy Richard,

Your Dream Come True Girl Rachelle

Moby's vocals do intermittently sound like Bowie and Eno. He's a Bowie Eno hybrid. Wait For Me is an inviolably great CD.

Bowie

For some reason your voice, at certain times, reminds me of David Bowie.

awesome!

fantastic. your music moves me. I'm serious!
