ok, update.

announcement on album and video and etc to come on tuesday.

i hope that everyone's having a nice passover or easter or non-passover or non-easter weekend. here in nyc it's grey and cold and rainy. i just squint and pretend i'm in belfast.

last night the little death played at mercury lounge and it was fun and hot and really sweaty (aforementioned hot and sweaty being exacerbated by my seemingly masochistic need to keep my stupid polyester suit on the entire night. i never claimed to be bright).

oh, a friend of mine was in l.a and sent me this picture. i don't know what 'hi mo' means in korean (am i right in assuming that these are korean characters?), but it's usually how my friends address me. i guess it's nice to share a micronym with the bartender on the simpsons and one of the 3 stooges.

apparently the obama's get a puppy on tuesday. so tuesday is my record announcement day and also obama's get a puppy day. i'm sure other things will happen on tuesday, but for now i'm focused on these two things as i'm simple.

Hi.

we are in the process of establishing an official NPO, 'Vegan Society of Japan' and putting a film show at Kyoto in July. There is an annual veggie festival there, run by vegans, in October that draws 5,000 or more.

Do you have a Japanese agent or do we need to ask permission to play some of your music for the opening/background?

thanks. The mercury show was really fun. That was the fifth time that I have seen you, including the boardies show.....which was the most fun I have ever had with my clothes on. So I guess 5 shows makes me a bonafide fan (as opposed to a bonaparte fan).....a friend thinks that it is just a phase and that it will pass.....I am not so sure. Your music has been the soundtrack of my life for some time including thru two bouts of cancer and chemo.....so just thanks....a lot.

looking forward to 'wait for me'......love the artwork.

Meanwhile back to life on the wet coast of Canada for me.
