1-thanks for coming to the carl cox tent at ultra. it was, to use contemporary parlance, off the hook. that's contemporary
parlance, right? just another in my long list of attempts to stay contemporary. i also hear that dungarees and pizza pies
are quite popular with the young persons these days. and flair pens and word processors.
2-today obama signed legislation protecting 2 million acres of land. hooray obama. i know that everyone's focussed
on economic news, but in his first 100 days he's done some pretty amazing things, like lifting the ban of federally funded
stem cell research, signing legislation providing equal pay for women, protecting 2 million acres of federal land from development,
and more. president obama makes me proud.
3-i'm doing a lot of european shows and festivals this summer. i think that most, if not all, of the dates have been
posted. i'll post them all sometime soon in one of my friendly list emails.
4-miami was nice. warm and nice. but all of the be-muscled and be-tanned and be-implanted people make me feel
like woody allen having a day at the beach. parts of miami are great. parts of it kind of make me want to run back
to nyc and sit in a bookstore getting even more pale. being warm in the out-of-doors was nice, though. and ultra was fun.

A lot of sports injuries result when you are camping. A simple mistake in the path of the trekking and you could find yourself in pain. You could need rest and therefore the tents that you carry in your backpack should be such that you can set a tent immediately also carry first aid kit.

My girlfriend thinks of you as a god or something, so I went mad... Nah, not for real, but just to prove her that I can talk to you as from man-to-man, like you talk to a real person and not some deity I've made and account here. I also like your music and the things you promote.
Sometimes is f..ing hard to talk to some music stars and this pisses me off! Aren't all of them humans like the rest of us, crying and hoping for better days, nicer mornings? But I got here, didn't I? :D
Main point was to tell you that we have a website in Romania with some great reviews about music, and you are been reviewed in a way that I think you'll just love it.
I've noticed that there are not many reviews about your music and this was something that made her (girlfriend) write about your music.
Anyways, I do have a thing to ask you (aren't they all - you will ask): please go the page wehere you are reviewed and say something about the review.

It's true, it's in romanian, but you cand use google translation. You will make her extremely happy and we would get some people to watch closely what we do: making reviews for the sake of ptomoting good music in the world. Nobody is getting no money out of it, so it's not a commercial webiste. There are no ads on the pages and no silly images.
I dearly thank you in advance, because I'm sure you'll read what she sais about your music and yourself and you'll make a small comment to make someobody happy.

i am
appreciative of this new feeling inside of me as I watch/read about G20. i see images of president obama comfortably talking to world leaders. for 8 years, i cringed at the sight of gwb when he snickered, sneered and made dumb-ass remarks in the company of world dignitaries. and my excuse was, "well, i wasn't born here, so i'm not really an american." but alas, i can relax knowing that obama won't say anything that the press can make fun of. as shallow as this may sound, i'm proud to see this handsome, tall, charismatic man representing america. it's not going to be an easy summit, that's for sure, but america has the best person representing.
