and now we can all say 'president obama'
the first african-american president of the united states.
i feel like the united states just went to the chiropractor.
thanks and congratulations to everyone who worked so hard to bring about this day. everyone who gave money. everyone who gave time. everyone who voted. everyone who volunteered.
president obama wasn't elected by an old and established political machine, he was elected in an unprecedented fashion, by you and your vote and your contributions and your efforts. normally when 3 million people gather in the cold it's to protest something or to watch a bon jovi concert or to watch people play football. today 3 million people gathered in dc to watch and celebrate the inauguration of our nations first black president, while billions of people around the world watched and listened as we peacefully handed the reins of power from one president to the next, and from one political party to another.
here's a photo of a few hundred thousand people waiting before the inauguration. president barack hussein obama. i can't believe it, but it's true. again, thank you,
moby

U2 the best.
Did you see the U2 show on Obama concert?
With "Pride (in the name of love)", and "City of Blinding Lights"- which was the "Obama song" in the campaign. It was fantastic.
a day to remember
I was watching the inauguration live on tv which was in the middle of the night here in Australia,Obama makes you feel like there is now some kind of hope for the future, so best wishes America from Australia on your new future!

I know, people can now say president obama.Edgy.So cool.
I watched it on tv when I had the chance.
Michelle's dress was fab! The first lady looked gorgeous.
Sasha and Malia looked adorable in those outfits.
And the president obama is just amazing!
Viva barack obama.
Finally.....
I feel like i can breathe again! I couldn't watch any of the live coverage at work, but I could listen to it.
I never thought I'd be crying at work listening to an inauguration!
That amount of people is
That amount of people is INSANE. I can't believe it. It did look like one huge rock concert. And I liked how when he got out to walk in the parade you could see this gigantic rush of people running alongside the parade route trying to catch a glimpse of him. It's so exciting seeing everyone so happy.
It's still hard to believe that GWB [And Cheney - THANK GOD] is finally gone, and we now have such an amazing man in the white house.
And the video of Michelle and Barack slow dancing is a must see. It's possibly one of the sweetest things I've ever seen.
hoo yes
hooo yes, it was very very touching.
I was watching the inauguration online from work, what an amazing feeling, i mean i´m from mexico, but we all in this country wanted Obama as President, he´s just wonderful, great personality, seems to be a great person.
