nice interview man, it's good to hear your thoughts and feelings on music, keep on inspiring.
Interesting talk
Hi, Moby. Thanks for the link. This talk is all interesting. ( Have I understood all?.....no, not technical part..... but this talk has given me many hints.)
Between house music and techno music, you seem to take more techno genre than house. I feel comfortable to hear that. I really love 'Chill out' (65 minutes; said, by Moby and Chemical Brothers vs Prodigy and FatBoySlim) but my wish is to hear more (a lot of , if it's possible) techno dance (=trance? ) kind of work from you in the future. (Among ambient, house, rave, techno, trance......personally I don't mind listening to them without distinguish their genre, though.)
Non stop 'Last Night Remixed' is great! It's a really nice work. I'm listening to it at least 2 to 3 times per day and I've more and more recognized that how richly your original songs are filled with such various, studied sounds!! I needed to re-trace the original songs of 'Last Night', 'Hotel' and others. You're such a hard worker! Just ResidentAdviser is rightly pointing out like "You've had a ton of remixes done of your work, ...."
So, it leads to think of your own dj or remix performance.
Other dj musicians, for example, Sander Van Doorn, Ron Van Den Beuken, Armin Buuren and Paul Van Dyk, we have possibility to listen to their more than 1hour performing music or their live music, but not yours.
So, ..hem.....when - are - you - go - ing - to let us have your non stop 76 minutes (roughly), say, trance/techno dance/house techno remix or dj/live music? I hope one day we can get some. Thank you.
I just want to thank you for
I just want to thank you for the music you let us use in films etc.
I only found out about your site here about 2 and a half weeks ago and so pleased to find some good stuff here.
I was trying unsuccessfully, to make up my own music for a short film but it sounded a bit crap when I was using my daughters recorder and my sons xylophone, as for my guitar playing, well, I`ll leave that one alone.
Not the sort of mood I want to set for a film about drug issues, (not unless I wanted to make a film about what people are like when they are high on drugs)
I really love your journal here as well and I especially love your wonderful surreal sense of humour.
It brings a smile to my face.
Needless to say, I haven`t managed to check out the toast website yet
Many Thanks Moby
