recently i was in san francisco and i went to visit some friends of mine who live in a houseboat in sausalito. sausalito?

just over the golden gate bridge. we were walking around the other house boats and i saw the following:

The 4th Little Pig??

is this the 4th little pig? the one who lives in a houseboat with an atrium?

i imagine the big, bad wolf would have to pretend to be a local bringing free-trade coffee and medicinal marijuana to get inside the 4th little pigs atrium-topped houseboat.

oh, and while visiting the land of houseboats we also took a boat trip around the bay and got up close to about 50 harbor seals. or, if you're in the uk, harbour seals. the seals are painfully adorable, but best seen from a distance. see, up-close the seals are still adorable but they smell like a bag of dead lobsters that someone kept in the sun for a week. i honestly never knew that harbor seals were so unbelievably stinky. cute as a fistful of buttons, what with their little doe eyes and their cute little whiskers. but that smell...maybe it's a natural defense they've developed? i can imagine a shark in the wild pacific getting close to a harbor seal and thinking 'wow, that seal looks tasty, but it smells like a bag of dead lobsters. maybe i'll go eat a fisherman instead.'

in other news, i just watched the newest 30 rock episode. ah boy, the writing on 30 rock is so good. if tina fey were single i'd lie down in front of her apartment until she agreed to marry me just so i'd stop bothering her. maybe that's called 'stalking'. ah well, what's semantics where true love is involved? she is perfect.

fey women

tina fey is a cool name. she probably is rather a cool woman. I think I might have seen one of her impersonations of sarah palin. I just went and looked her up on wikipedia and as well as having that fey look about her, i noticed that she is a committed environmentalist. I can imagine that you going down very well together with a environmentalist, fey kind of a woman.

did you know that before the celts moved on in to the british isles, that there was a race of smaller darker people who lived there. i believe it is from that race of people that the word fey origonates. i have read that the faery people used to be an actual race of people, also known as the picts(?), but that they pretty much got wiped out as a race, by other peoples that came in from other lands. then the faery people became known as a race of other worldly folk who once used to inhabit this world, but then "chose" to relocate permanently to another world. I also read in a book about the origons of faery tales, that there might have once been a kind of ancestor worship, where-in the faery people (otherwise known as the fey folk), were the ancestors being worshipped. anyway, if you ask me, i would say that tina fey has a little bit of the look of someone who might really be a descendant of those people. how do I know? well there are a few around and i think i know what the fey look looks like.

so don't worry moby, maybe there is another cute environmentalist fey woman out there somewhere who would quite like to hook up with you. you might not even have to go to the trouble of lying down outside of her apartment to capture her attention.

So many people tell me San Fran is one of the best and most interesting cities in the US. I have yet to go to the West coast, but San Fran is on the top of my list when I do. And totally agree with the Tina Fey comment, we can bunk outside of her house together... maybe she has a sister for me. haha.

I have a giraffe statue [his name is Harold] in my apartment, but it's not nearly as cool a gigantic pig.

I love Tina Fey too. I don't think there's anyone smarter and funnier as her in comedy right now. I loved her on weekend update too. I love 30 rock, but I do really miss her on SNL.

And I get told I look like her all the time. Her and Janeane Garofalo.. because all women with dark hair and glasses look exactly the same. As the Tina Fey and Sarah Palin thing proved.
