for a while now i've been involved in the issue project room.
issue is a remarkable place, providing a stage and a home for experimental music in new york.
on november 11th(this tuesday) i'll be dj'ing at a fund-raising event for issue at santos' party house.
it's hosted by tony conrad, and features a really interesting and eclectic line-up of musicians and dj's.
DAVID LINTON
CHARLES COHEN
ALEX WATERMAN
BUBBLYFISH
TALIBAM
LUKE DUBOIS
CHIKA
CASPAR STRACKE
tickets are available here:

PROP 8
Hi everyone -- FYI, if you are upset that your fundamental right to marry was taken away in California, or if you have friends/family who lost their right to marry, there will be a simultaneous nationwide protest on Saturday Nov. 15 at 1:30pm Eastern/12:30pm Central/10:30am Pacific. There are protests in cities in every state. Groups of thousands have already been protesting throughout California the past week, asking people to "Fight the Hate of Proposition 8." Now a national day of protest is being called. Check out this web site to find the one closest to you.

Pass the word...all of this is being organized by online volunteers though facebook, web sites, email, text etc. All you have to do is show up at the designated site with your homemade sign.
Together we can make a difference.

It's quite logical Moby contributes to IPR
No surprise to find that Moby's keen on this kind of activities--innovating culture expressions, and he himself has been working on experimental music ........ I'm kind of being impressed by the fact that the idea of Moby being connected to somewhere in this area--research of computer music seems to be confirmed.
I'm glad of this.
Thanks, Moby, letting us know the name of this establishment/institute, ISSUE Project Room. Very interesting!
absence of booking contacts
Hey, Moby!
It's really impossible to find your booking agency. No information on Mute website, myspace. A little bit frustrating. Maybe you're not interested in dj-dates outside of NY area...
Anyways... I'll try to come by to Santos to listen to your ambient set even if those tickets are outrageously expensive for non-live show.
If you ever see this message i'd really like to get some information regarding with whom to check your availability for dj-sets in Europe in January.
I've been given your e-mail by one person you knew, but i guess it has leaked in internet at one point & you don't read it anymore.
I see a lot of people trying to find some contacts of your representatives. So i'm not the first one to inquire. Is there any solution to this issue?
