ok, it's election day and it's time for a list.

1-i'm nervous. anxious. eesh. i'm sure that xanax is being gobbled across the u.s by dem's and gop'ers alike.

2-here's my prediction in electoral college votes...

obama 314 electoral college votes
mccain 224 electoral college votes

i could be completely wrong, but that's my(hopeful, of course)prediction.
if i'm right you can please feel free to tell people that i'm a political savant, like yogi berra(minus the baseball).

3-we launched:
http://www.myspace.com/thisislastnight
non-stop disco site party time that is ostensibly up to promote 'last night: remixed' which was released
yesterday(the fact that it was released the day before the u.s elections is just a weird coincidence).
it's a really good record, and i can say that objectively as all of the remixes were done by dj's and producers
who are much cooler than i.

4-as i write this(2:30 a.m monday night/tuesday morning)i find it almost disconcerting to think of how
good an obama presidency would be for the u.s and for the world. to have a president who is young and principled
and intelligent. to have a president who is open-minded and willing to listen to ideas regardless of where they come from.
to have a president who would enjoy the support of the rest of the world.
and, to have a president who is african-american. i can't even begin to conceive of how amazing
it is that we might wake up on wednesday to have an african-american president-elect. 40 years ago blacks in many
parts of the u.s couldn't even use public drinking fountains. and now we might have an african-american president.
amazing. america's capacity to re-invent itself and to make itself anew continues to amaze me.

5-if you haven't voted, go vote. be an agent of change. help to elect barack obama and joe biden to the highest
office in the united states.

thanks,
moby

Today all the world prays

So we could think “this is Americans... they have nothing to do with us" but certainly, we know it’s not true. We are all connected and personally, I'm very hopeful about this election. Eight long years were under a bad guidance. I hope today not only Americans will feel involved with the future of their nation, but all the humans who are concerned in supporting a different way of life, supporting peace, freedom and dignity.
And I remember you write in your coins a reflection of your beliefs which says:

In God we trust

Yes, we're watching.

Yes, this would be the must. Obama must be the next President of the United States. The rest of the world, too, is wishing he would be the one for the US and for us.

Obama's firm, serious readiness to make the world better is much reliable than his adverse and his open minded large views assure us.
When this will be realized, you Americans can be proud of what you'd made by you and you'd feel multiple courage to restore the damaged image of US.

As I think of him only as a person, the other his elements will come only after the real moment....and the idea how historically an important moment is waiting amazes me.
GOOD VOTE to make an historical moment !!

To say other thing.....got it (yesterday)...'LAST NIGHT REMIXED'.....am listening it.....
it's a good, nice, nice cd....thank you for all musicians......feel time goes on....anyhow each one keeps going.

Went and voted for Obama

Went and voted for Obama this morning here in Indiana. It felt AMAZING, but now I'm anxious as hell.

Honestly, I think I'm about to cry I'm so scared about the outcome. He would be so great for this country. It would be such an incredible step. Joe Biden too!

This is torture. I don't know why I'm feeling so pessimistic and sad. I guess I'm just rememebering 2004.

I think I'm going to get some nice snacks that are incredibly bad for me and wait out the rest of the day with a book or two. Damn having the day off. I think that's a first.

here is hoping for the best. <333

It's amazing...

...how much coverage the U.S. election is getting over here in Europe. I'm told it's unprecedented this go around. My absentee vote for Barack was sent long ago and me and my fellow ex-pats over here are throwing a big election result watching party. I just hope there's no DEWIE BEATS TRUMAN.

Outcome

As a national guard member who has recently returned from the doldrums of the desert, aka iraq, I wholeheartedly support obama. My support of obama continually produced banter from my cohorts in my unit, who are, by the way, staunch mccain supporters.
Michael

if republicans had any brains, they would be libertarians!

wrote-in ron paul for president.

i'm hoping for a 4% slice. libertarians need something to build on for a true revolution.

voted against john kerry and barney frank.

poly-ticks

Stick to your music/art 'cause it has went south with your political rants. Otherwise run for office in your district and make a difference. What the hell happened to you? NYC has decent affordable therapists.

hi moby

i truly hope obama will get to be president, i am from belgium and i can't stop thinking about it,it's in the news everywhere here, it would be indeed an amazing thing for america to have him.
he seems so nice and so intelligent.
and you know what?
i can predict that he will be the president, i am sure he will win.
keep prayin for it.
(by the way moby, is there a chance for me to write you a private email? i have something to ask you!)
thanks!!!!
barbara from belgium

Election Day... me and the

Election Day... me and the rest of the world are keeping an eye on the USA today.

I'm really optimistic this year though, since every single one of my American friends has voted for Obama!
Even the ones who I know have been republicans for many many years, and even the ones who have always been voting for some 3rd party.

It makes me really excited... the idea of President Obama!

Anyway, thank you for everything you do and good luck!

vote

I couldn't go vote, because i live in Hungary. Sorry.
