in establishing sarah palin's foreign policy credentials the mccain camp have listed:
a-that she lives a few hundred miles from russia's barely populated eastern border(which happens to be about 4,000 miles
from moscow...)
b-that she travelled to iraq
c-that she travelled to ireland
d-that she travelled to canada and mexico(on vacation)
now it turns out that they lied about her trip to iraq. huh, how about that. she never actually went to iraq.
they said she went to iraq. and she never went to iraq.
and it turns out that they even stretched the truth about her going to ireland. her plane
touched down in ireland to refuel, but she didn't actually get off the plane.
to quote the obama camp: 'is there anything that john mccain HASN'T lied about?'
i mean, at this point how can anyone believe anything coming out of mccain's or palin's mouth?
they lie.
and lie.
and then when they get tired from all the lying they take a break and lie some more, just for fun.
at least the rest of the country seem to be waking up and recognizing that mccain and palin are, essentially
and basically, liars.
even when i was in elementary school we knew that liars were the lowest of the low.
if you were 6 years old and got caught lying you had to take a time-out and sit by yourself for a while.
maybe john mccain and sarah palin should be given a time-out to sit and think about all of
the lies that they've been telling?

Planned Parenthood
Before you send in your hard-earned starbuck's tips, please know what you are truly for and what you are truly against. Eugenics is a very ugly word in history. Liberals who champion human rights and civil liberties should know the institutions and its history before they support it. Unless eugenics is something liberals want to openly support. Not only is the founder of Planned Parenthood a sick and demented admirer of himmler, she was also dedicated racist.
Support Obama in the name of eugenics and racism? Either this has to be one of the dumbest ideas ever conceived or are liberals really that fucking stupid!
The founder of Planned Parenthood said these things about abortion:
""The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."
Margaret Sanger (editor). The Woman Rebel, Volume I, Number 1. Reprinted in Woman and the New Race. New York: Brentanos Publishers, 1922.
"Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."
Margaret Sanger. Woman, Morality, and Birth Control. New York: New York Publishing Company, 1922. Page 12.
"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.
"Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock."
Margaret Sanger, April 1933 Birth Control Review.
"Eugenics is … the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems.
Margaret Sanger. "The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda." Birth Control Review, October 1921, page 5.
"Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives."
[no source available at this time...]
As an advocate of birth control I wish ... to point out that the unbalance between the birth rate of the 'unfit' and the 'fit,' admittedly the greatest present menace to civilization, can never be rectified by the inauguration of a cradle competition between these two classes. In this matter, the example of the inferior classes, the fertility of the feeble-minded, the mentally defective, the poverty-stricken classes, should not be held up for emulation....
On the contrary, the most urgent problem today is how to limit and discourage the over-fertility of the mentally and physically defective.
Margaret Sanger. "The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda." Birth Control Review, October 1921, page 5.
"The campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical with the final aims of eugenics."
Margaret Sanger. "The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda." Birth Control Review, October 1921, page 5.
"Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying ... demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism ... [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant ... We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all."
Margaret Sanger. The Pivot of Civilization, 1922. Chapter on "The Cruelty of Charity," pages 116, 122, and 189. Swarthmore College Library edition.
"The undeniably feeble-minded should, indeed, not only be discouraged but prevented from propagating their kind."
Margaret Sanger, quoted in Charles Valenza. "Was Margaret Sanger a Racist?" Family Planning Perspectives, January-February 1985, page 44.
"The third group [of society] are those irresponsible and reckless ones having little regard for the consequences of their acts, or whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers. Many of this group are diseased, feeble-minded, and are of the pauper element dependent upon the normal and fit members of society for their support. There is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped."
Margaret Sanger. Speech quoted in Birth Control: What It Is, How It Works, What It Will Do. The Proceedings of the First American Birth Control Conference. Held at the Hotel Plaza, New York City, November 11-12, 1921. Published by the Birth Control Review, Gothic Press, pages 172 and 174.
"The marriage bed is the most degenerative influence in the social order..."
Margaret Sanger (editor). The Woman Rebel, Volume I, Number 1. Reprinted in Woman and the New Race. New York: Brentanos Publishers, 1922.
"[Our objective is] unlimited sexual gratification without the burden of unwanted children..."
Margaret Sanger (editor). The Woman Rebel, Volume I, Number 1. Reprinted in Woman and the New Race. New York: Brentanos Publishers, 1922.
"Give dysgenic groups [people with 'bad genes'] in our population their choice of segregation or [compulsory] sterilization."
Margaret Sanger, April 1932 Birth Control Review.
Support Planned Parenthood in honor of Sarah Palin
From the Seattle/Tacoma Craigslist:
Dear Friends:
We may have thought we wanted a woman on a national political ticket,
but the joke has really been on us, hasn't it? Are you as sick in your
stomach as I am at the thought of Sarah Palin as Vice President of the
United States ?
Since Palin gave her speech accepting the Republican nomination for the
Vice Presidency, Barack Obama's campaign has raised over $10 million
dollars. Some of you may already be supporting the Obama campaign
financially; others of you may still be a little honked off over the
primaries. None of you, however, can be happy with Palin's selection,
especially on her positions on women's issues. So, if you feel you can't
support the Obama campaign financially, may I suggest the following
fiendishly brilliant alternative?
Make a donation to Planned Parenthood. In Sarah Palin's name. And here's
the good part: when you make a donation to PP in her name, they'll send
her a card telling her that the donation has been made in her honor.
Here's the link to the Planned Parenthood website:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/
You'll need to fill in the address to let PP know where to send the "in
Sarah Palin's honor" card. I suggest you use the address for the McCain
campaign headquarters, which is:
McCain for President
1235 S. Clark Street
1st Floor
Arlington , VA 22202
Feel free to send this along to all your women friends and urge them to
do the same.
what Sarah Palin has to say about Climate Change
Here is a Link to quite an interesting article (you might need to scroll down the page a bit when you get there) -
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080912/ap_on_el_pr/palin_interview_18
Welllll.... Sarah Palin just did a classic "flip-flop" on the Global Warming.(http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/sep/12/climatechange.uselecti...) This is so obviously a purely political change of mind that I hope even the right-leaning press America questions her sincerity, because there is obviously no sincerity there. If Kerry had done something like this in 2004 the press would have jumped on him for weeks... let's see what happens now.
his campaign: "We’re
his campaign: "We’re running a campaign to win. And we’re not too concerned about what the media filter tries to say about it."
Even though I've hardly heard anything about all the blatant lies they've been spewing except on the internet. It'd disgusting the way the media hasn't been attacking their obvious dishonesty. LIBERAL bias? Hardly. They're too obsessed with ~sarah palin alaskan hockey mom who wears lipstick~
And I never thought a vp canididate could terrify me more than Dick Cheney.
Some people would rather believe lies than the truth
That seems to be the case for all the Americans who still support the Republican party. After what this country has suffered under 8 years of Republican leadership, I cannot understand why there are still defenders of that corrupt party. Is the fact that we are spending millions of dollars on a futile war that has not and will not eradicate terrorism, and where American soldiers are being killed every day, not enough of a reason to want change? What about the fact that our economy is in shambles as a result of the foreclosure crisis? Shouldn't we be worried by the fact that Lehman declared bankruptcy and Merril Lynch would have followed suit if Bank of America hadn't bought them? AIG is also in trouble. This is only a few months after the government had to bail out Bear Stearns.
Don't even get me started on the Hurricane Ike situation. Considering that residents of New Orleans are still waiting for the aid promised them after FEMA failed them, I wonder how soon Texas will receive emergency help? Will they get preferential treatment because our current lame duck president was once governor of their state?
What Fantasyland do rabid Republican supporters inhabit?

wow
I've begrudgingly accepted that politics is lies, but it's amazing how brazen these folks are. would be nice if their time-out lasted until about the end of November.
