i just got back from:
dj'ing in berlin
performing at sms
dj'ing at virgin festival in baltimore.
and now i'm headed out to drink beer with my old friend fancy(of 'fannypack' & 'cameltoe' fame).
dj'ing at weekend in berlin was insane. it was so hot and the record players stopped working, but in the end
it was a great night.
and the sms festival was really fun(and luckily not raining).
and dj'ing at virgin fest in baltimore was great, too.
virgin fest was odd, very eclectic, for as i was dj'ing in the dance tent bob dylan was playing
on the main stage.
i wonder if at some point in between songs he stopped heard the electro in the distance and wished that he was jumping up and down
to techno in the dance tent.
like, 'i could play 'all along the watchtower' or i could do some tequila shots and take my shirt off and dance
with glowsticks in the dance tent'.
i dunno, maybe he'd have more fun jumping up and down in the dance tent for 10 minutes?
don't get me wrong, bob dylan's songs are great(well, most of them), but maybe it'd be a nice change of pace for him if
he put down his guitar, ran over to the dance tent, jumped up and down with sweaty ravers for 10 minutes,
then ran back to the main stage and played 'maggie's farm'(which just happens to be barack obama's favorite
bob dylan song, apparently).
just a thought.
thanks to everyone who came to weekend or sms festival or the dance tent at v fest in baltimore.
time to drink beer with fancy.
moby
p.s-yes, his name is 'fancy'. see, he had a mouse named 'fancy' in college and people just started calling
him and his mouse by the same name. it makes perfect sense if you know fancy.

What Bob Dylan probably thought about Moby´s suggestion
Quoting The Master of this website:
"I wonder if at some point in between the songs he stopped heard the electro in the distance and wished that he was jumping up and down to techno in the dance tent"
I´m afraid Bob Dylan, or His Bobness, nowadays has reached that certain age where he rather goes to bed in a comfortable hotel bed than stay up all night long, sweating in a techno tent, as he incessantly sings:
"There must be some way out of here..."
Stratford folk
Such incredible talent to come from this little old town. I'm sitting here looking at Birdseye School, right across from my house ! How 'bout that...
Moby, you are phenomenol - esp. love Extreme Ways
Bob was there
Surely bob dylan listened to the electro, and wanted to jump even there, to dance, and do lots of tequila shots...
Maybe I had done the same
you're very sweet but
you're very sweet but, please don't forget robert zimmerman's age. I'm sure he would love to get down and boogey, but he is getting up there.
on another note, i miss the forums you've had here. sure i left because of the trolls (who in turn thought i was a troll) but at the same time oddly i miss it because of them.
peace & love,

you need a reality show immediately.

oh cielos! bob dylan dancing
oh cielos! bob dylan dancing and jumping to techno music!
what a crazy amazing vision x)
but since I like both of you guys, that'd be just too cool to observe ;)
V Fest
Dylan definitely missed out. That dance tent was a religious experience.
Thanks for making it to Baltimore, putting up with all that dust and spinning a FANTASTIC set.

thank moby you're the best
god must be a moby fan ...
... and seems not to like sven väth.
outstanding performance at the sms festival! sure, i knew some of your famous songs and really liked them. then i saw an interview with you at the loveparade in dortmund some weeks ago, wich really awakend my interest. unfortunately i could not be there. so i was very anxious to see you in saalburg. i often heard that you are a verry professional musician, so i had high expectations. but this was ... wow. a real eureka moment for me. during the festival i talked to a lot of people there and all who had seen your show agreed that this was defnitly the highlight of the festival.
thank you!
