ah(or, ach), it's been a busy couple of days.
yesterday in glasgow was really fun.
acoustic show, record signing, dj'ing at subclub.
and today we(joy and i)did a very fun and messy and chaotic acoustic
show at ruby's in manchester.
and tomorrow is another acoustic show and 2 dj events.
oh, the dj gig at sankey's is a bit on the late side.
they open at 9, but i think i go on around 12:30 or so.
and at global gathering i think i go on around 12:30 or so.
and, for consistency, at the liquid rooms saturday night i think i go on around
12:30 or so.
i love doing acoustic shows with joy, as she's really talented and she
also doesn't mind that we invent songs on the spot and do songs
that we haven't rehearsed.
i also like that i'll have email exchanges with my managers along
the likes of 'are we doing the show with joy?'
'yes, we're doing it with joy.'
nice double meaning.
ok, see you soon.

wow
What a great experience the guy who posted above had with you. I met Oakenfold once and he was a total coked-out dick. He threw a drink in some chick's face who asked him for an autograph. Granted the chick was really drunk and trying to hang all over him but I bet you would've handled the situation with a bit more...aplomb?

MOBY IN GLASGOW
Totally amazing day.
Went to Avalanche Records heard Moby's DJ set - tiny record store and about 80 people all able to have quick chat and photo etc with the man. He signed (actually drew on) my t shirt from the 18 tour.
Then great ambient set with Joy (great singer what's her surname and background ???) at Mono. I stayed after with 2 friends for some drinks and Moby actually came and talked to us and INVITED us to his DJ set at the Sub Club. Course we went along despite early morning work and it was amazing. Great music, had drink and great chat with Joy and Moby's tour manager then shook Moby's hand at end of his DJ set.
It is amazing for a star like Moby to get close to his fans - what a lovely guy.
Please come back to Scotland soon.
Cheers
