"At this defining moment in history - a moment when we're facing two wars, an economy in turmoil, a planet in peril - we can't afford to give John McCain the chance to serve out George Bush's third term."
We can have change or have more of the same.
McCain is not bush, but he is the party of bush, more of the same.
He is a good man, but the best McCain would offer is simply not enough to address our needs at this moment in our history. we need vision such as Obama has for a united prosperous future. McCain is not psychologically prepared to move forward, and tackle the tough issues of the day in the progressive way that moves far from his party, much further than he would be willing to go. So much of what needs to be done will be accomplished because Obama will reach out and embrace the best ideas from all sides and apply it in a way that is good for all americans. the McCain republican preferred way to address our social needs, security and economy, is to give corporations what they want, and then tell us it is what is really best for us, such as the republicans having insurance and pharmaceutical companies write legislation governing themselves. McCain like many republicans is too happy to use the military for everything under the sun, including as a substitute for international security and co-operation, but he won't even support the GI Bill to honestly support the troops. maybe being in a multi-millionaire family he forgets that it is difficult for people to pay for college. how will the future be ours if we can't compete in education or technology when opportunity disappears? The republicans have had 8 yrs , and a good deal of that with command of all branches, and look at the results. does anyone really feel like saying, "great job" to the republicans? more like, "you messed it up with your chance, now let the other team have a go with it."

Childish bickering between the Democratic candidates could push more voters into the McCain camp. Homo Sapiens are a race of technologically enlightened savages. The collapse of a political infrastructure ruling over, and ruled by, said techno-savages is a foregone conclusion. A regression toward the mean is probable in the short term, but in the long term the state of social affairs will become progressively more dire.
Interesting that this forum doesn't allow for letter capitalization. Is that a software glitch, or an inference to a personal ethic?
Hi Moby,
I was listening to some of your stuff tonight and it took me on a trip down memory lane. My second ever “rave” gig was you in the tivoli theatre in Dublin, 93, I think I was 15, You gyrating savagely to 1000, next is the E (a crowd favorite at the time) Go etc. All the ones off the Moby album. I remember my friend asking for an autograph and you drew some funny Moby dude, we were thinking “oh yeah that’s cool” until a lot later when we saw the natural blues video and we saw the same dude on the video!! I reckon I could make some money out of that shit on eBay now ha-ha!!
My brothers always introduced me to good music but "Experience" and “Moby” were the first albums that were “mine”.
Anyway listening to the back catalogue is refreshing. I remember me and my now wife listening to the last 5 tunes of everything is wrong on repeat many a night at 5 in the morn. It still fucking rules, there is not many 30 minutes of ambience that beats it. Moby ambient was played alongside aphex’s ambient works at after partys at a regular basis. In 99 I was in the US and all my US mates were listening to Play saying who the fuck is this dude. Even not so long ago jumping up and down in an irish pub to we are all made of stars – perfect pop.
Anyway I’m just back from a night club and I’ve read the press about your new album. I’m excited. You’re a NY boy. This is the album you were made to make. Think NuYorican Soul, Wu tang Clan, Ramones, Velvet Underground. No pressure!!! But seriously I’m excited to hear it, I’m sure it will rock.
Thanks from Ireland for the great music,
Slainte,
Mark
P.S.
Good to see you are fighting the right fight re who should run your country.
