ok, so on friday i saw a video link from musicsnobbery.com
in said link mr. music snobbery. com admitted that he was having a party at maxwells and his
headliner had cancelled.
he then asked a few people(me being one of them)to play at his party.
so, as i spend way too much time on the aforementioned internet and i have free time on april 10th and i love to play if there's an audience and/or beer involved, saw his
request and i emailed him and said, 'i'd be happy to play at your party'.
then he wrote back and, to paraphrase, said, 'great'.
so i'm playing at his party.
at maxwells.
in new jersey.

the april 10th musicsnobbery.com 3rd year anniversary.
i'll be doing drunken cover songs of my own songs and drunken cover songs of other
people's songs.
i'm particularly excited to play a cover of 'new dawn fades'.
which i rarely(and/or 'often')play.

it's the only live show i have scheduled in the u.s of/and a this year.

p.s-the bars in new jersey close early, so i'm not sure what we'll be doing after the show.
but we'll be up late, as both me and my bandmates are, for lack of a better term, "alcoholics". we're open to post 1:45 a.m suggestions. thanks.

New York in the summer

Well, my girlfriend and I want to come to NY in August to check out the clubs, hopefully you'll be performing so that we can take in a performance, I saw you at the Phoenix in T.O. a few years back (incredible show, I was front row centre!!) Thank you for taking me away from this stressful crazy world we live in, i love getting lost in the groove... even if it's only for 60 minutes.

I have been listening to Moby consistently for about 4 years. It's always my background music at work. Never offensive to anyone. Nice. Keeps me upbeat. Refreshed. This new CD is Great! I can't get enough of it. I listened to it online free for 2 days. It was in my dreams so, I immediately went out and bought it. I love it! Especially love Disco Lies. And Alice. And Ooh Yeah. And Hyenas. I'm totally into everything Moby right now! Thanks a bunch Moby!!!

A completely unrelated and seemingly arbitrary question: Have you ever read any of the Gnostic Gospels? Like the Gospel of Thomas? Really fascinating stuff (I think)... some believe it's a accurate reflection of the "true" teachings of Christ-- as opposed to the stuff that been co-opted and peddled by the Christian right. It actually has a real Buddhist flavor. Just curious... I'm not some religious nut (really), I was just curious because I think some of your ideas on Christianity are interesting. Anyway, sorry for hijacking-- great new album!

A few years ago I got to see you in Philadelphia on my birthday, and now I get to do it again!!!!!(ok, this time its a few days off, but close enough).

In philly you drew a cow on my wrist with the inscription "mooby". Hopefully I will be able to show you the subsequent tattoo I got from your drawing! hehe

Looking forward to a great time with some great songs and cheap american beer in hoboken.

P.S.-we love the new album and have been playing in our tattoo shop every day.

hey, moby, i don't know if you read this but i'm a fan. your concert(in belgium) was the first concert i went to. it was great! i heard some rumours about that there is gonne be another concert in belgium but i don't know when. last concert i also wantet to ask an autograph but the securaty guard said you were already gone... so... hope ya read it =) cya

I'm ussualy never post in blogs or this tipe of things.. also mi english is not so good.. i excuse and i hope that you can understand me, in the case that you really read this comments,... i write because i like to think that you do and because i really like what you do with music and/or i really like what music do to you.
