Miami is nice, but all of the bronzed and sculpted people do tend to make me feel physically inadequate, what with my woody allen complexion, hair-line, and physique.
Maybe if I lurk in the shadows the bronzed and sculpted beach denizens will be less inclined to throw garbage at me.
Anywhoo(to quote homer), 'last night' is now up and streaming on my myspace page, and it comes out monday everywhere except north america, tuesday in north america, and may in the uk(don't ask, I don't understand record label machinations).
And we've made a bunch of changes to moby.com, the coolest of said changes being that we're streaming videos on the homepage.
Well, I think its a cool change. But maybe I'm biased, seeing as they're my videos. Hopefully you think its a cool change, too.
Ok, back to skulking in the shadows of miami. I hope you enjoy 'last night', and maybe see you later if you're in miami, or april 3rd in nyc at hiro w mehdi and tommy sunshine.

This black background isn't as nice as the white. I think you should go back to the white. I agree with an earlier comment that the woman is out of place. Why isnt your photo there? I like the videos on the front page, but again why all of the women everywhere? Why did I hear in an interview with Tao Lin that you are in his next book? Is it because you have a vegan resteraunt? Why would they throw garbage at you? Don't you have security? I like your Russian roulette reference in the song on your myspace and the voice of the guy saying it. Is that your voice?

I would agree with Adele, gray and yellow are nice colors for the site, especially for those who reads your journal at night (deep deep into the night:) It is pleasant for eyes. Though i am not found of demonslike women at the front page. They are too glamorous and evil

Your new album
Hello Moby.
I really like your music but the last album "Last night" is very strange. It is not "old" good Moby. There is much of cheapy electronica and songs are so emty without soul. Where are the times of Play-album-style? Nice strings, many feelings in each song... I missed them. Please come back Moby. Only song where I hear you is "Degenerates". Don´t make the same mistake like other groups with their last albums (for ex. Chemical Brothers or The Prodigy).
This is only my personal opinion. Sorry for mistakes - english is not my native language.

hey Moby, I love your music and your website, but the new color scheme honestly hurts. Yellow and white against black isn't very easy on the eyes...
Otherwise I love reading your journal; you're very witty and you make great music. And I like how your fans can now make comments on your site. :)
Videos on front page
Sorry to say this, Moby. The side-scrolling on your front page sucks. Everybody loves the idea of posting videos here, but pls keep it simple, avoid Flash. Yours, PB.

New Design and videos
LOVE the new design and videos! The black and yellow are so cool! The cover flow like on Apple is cool but a bit tedious in getting it to slow down enought o chhose the video i want to watch. Keep up the great work and thanks so much for adding your videos! Will the new ones be added to you tube so we can post them in our blogs?

For the awesome show last night in miami! it was the best ever, and I have been waiting to see you live for ever, well ever since i was a little kid when the album play came out. I don't know if you remember but i was front and center with the black beanie and checkard bandana with the red and blue glow sticks. Also I got some awesome pictures of your set, and if you want them please notify me. Thank you again for the most amazing day of this year.
Ultra Set
Well, Moby, if they threw garbage at you, my husband and I would suffer the same. I have to use his name and email for this b/c your site rejected me as INVALID (I feel so disenfranchised). anyway, I am as pale as you and quite flabby, and although my husband's skin is as brown as cinnamon, he is rather skinny. We both felt very self-conscious in Miami among all those fake, perfect people.
We were in the front during the first 20 minutes of your set (I was in a green Corona hat) but my husband yanked me away because Hybrid's set overlapped yours (stupid, evil organizers!) and he didn't want to miss them. He mistook the time for 8:20 and not 7:20 and by the time we realized the mistake, it was too late to fight our way back to you. Please come to New Orleans next year - we will be moving there - I was very sad I didn't get my Moby fix. We love you. My husband (who is very homophobic) says you are the only man he'd ever snuggle with because you are so little and cute and your music changed his life. Continue to be who you are, make music, and come see us in New Orleans soon! Oh, and if any of your staff found some yellow and black kandi bracelets with plastic spiders on them, those are from us - we tried to throw them to you but we missed . . .
